Totally useless. Cant load any of the previous purchases. It just gets stuck loading and wont proceed. Until it is fixed it is completely useless

The Comixology powered app was superb. This updated app is much to be desired. My purchases have been restored, but I cant download or read from the cloud. Go back to the drawing board IDW (pun intended)!

Thanks for the "update". Now all my money has gone down the drain until I can figure out how to get everything back. This was essentially a useless update and I am more than just disappointed considering I had almost a hundred issues on my comixology account.

It crashes when I try to read comics. Deleted all my comics that I had downloaded in the previous version so now I have to download them all again and there is no download all button. Also no guided view. Motion comics are useless. The app layout is terribly organized. Comics are just scattered everywhere. It takes forever to load every time I look at an individual issue.

I must admit I am not impressed. It takes a while to just read a comic, its like I need the internet just to read a comic. Also some of the pages turn dark, I fixed that by deleting the comic or the app itself. Improvements are needed.

I got an iPad just for comics. I have real hard time using my hands sometimes, due to muscle and nerve illness so cant hold books always. But with iPad can read anytime. I dont have a lot of money, but every spare cent goes into my love of comics. And IDW Transformers is my series. I own almost the full library, and once I updated also lost 10.3 GB of it. I have it in my synced up and its in my cloud... Almost its missing most recent issues. Also once you update you will then need to delete to clear the old data or it piles new data on top of old nonworking data. And the viewing is no where near Comixology quality. IDW plans to still sell from Comixology, I recommend buying from the website and using their app.

I used to love this app. The latest version has taking away the ability to view the comic panel by panel. I enjoyed reading comics this way instead of paper comics. That way I dont see what comes next till Im ready for it. I wrote this review in hopes someone will see it and add this feature back to it. Then I will give it 5 stars.

The new update is an absolute step back from prior versions. The organization of your comics is a mess, and the lack of panel viewing makes it worthless for reading on your phone.

Clunky interface, doesnt work with older iOS and harder to read. Inferior experience to the previous app powered by Comixology. But guess what? This is what we get, so "enjoy"

The new phase of this app brings less functionality. Bring back the panel reading or I will go over to the IDW app.

No panel-to-panel reading? This is significantly worse than before...not enjoyable...Please fix!

So no pane by pane reading. All my downloaded comics were deleted. Organization of titles now a nightmare. I have no clue where I left off. Some panels are simply black! I can see the thumbnail but the panel only renders in black! Ridiculous someone thought this was a good idea.

I loved the transformers comic app before this update. From panel to panel it was great. When I update this app not only did you guys removed the panel-to-panel transitions but replaced it with a motion comic that is 1) idiotic and 2) horrible. Please fix or remove the motion comic like a option and have the panel-to-panel transitions back.

I don’t care guided view is gone. If you care about this don’t just complain, email support. Give them a chance to fix it and don’t be such sticks in the mud.

all transformer comics are named "transformers: anyseries xyz". the way the app organizes the names now everything is showing up as "Transformers" without the end showing thanks to the picture/thumbnail format, not displaying any details and with no organization that I can follow. The same nonsense applies for my little pony and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles app. It makes it very hard to buy anything as you are never sure if you own the individual issues or the collections. once I finish reading the comic book is very hard to go to the next one or god forbid the prior one. Its very hard to go back and find the comic books as they dont seem to be in sequential order or simply they are not there. There are many that cannot be found even where theyre supposed to be clustered. I dont mind not having the guided view so much as it tended to concentrate on dialogue and then leave a lot of the art outside of the panels (this problem is not inherent of guided view but a problem of the mediocre and sad people that scan and choose what it will be showing us) so I simply disabled it... However the current version with the PDF like view is clumsy and difficult to navigate. even reading this comics on ibooks or any PDF reader is easier than on the new version of the app. motion comics are so-so, so far. i expect they will get better w time. enhanced sound is kind of interesting with the transformation sound but most other sound effects are not particularly useful to the story and can be distracting from the story instead. last but not least, when I buy a book in Comixcology it automatically updates on the Marvel comics or dc comics application so I can download it and read it in the Marvel or dc comics application. For some reason this does not happen on the application for any IDW comic. Or does it? I will not pay twice for the same product.

Ditto to what everybody else said. But (and I dont know if this is just my problem) the motion comic is super glitchy. In theory, its really cool! But when some panels are misaligned, it makes the comic sometimes impossible to read. For instance, an arm will be present but the rest of a guy will be just missing. Or even worse, a dialogue box! Im like, "Darn. I guess he just said something really heroic there..." I agree that the motion comic thing should be an optional display. I wish there was a trick to fixing the bugs in the meantime. And personally I think in addition to alphabetizing by Transformers: anytitle, there should be an option for story chronological order. Also, sometimes when I go to the cloud, a few comics will be missing that I know I have in my library on the device. I wish there was a simpler way to delete comics from the device once Im done reading them. Something that mimics how you delete an app would be nice. But as it is, I have to find that comics entry in my cloud or in the store to remove it (which requires an Internet connection). Lastly, when in landscape, it would be great to double tap and have the page just fit its width to my screen. Thats all I really want out of that double tap feature. And thats all I have to say.

I dont understand, its 2015 ...get a few programmers and make a decent app that replicated other comic apps. I swear I love IDW products. I would have paid double if you guys can make a market competitive application.
