You screwed up !

The app used to be great,

Fixing needed

I really loved this app before it was updated. Its still good I guess but I really missed the panel by panel transition but I dont like how they removed that, plus on some of my volumes, some pages are ether missing or out of place. Please bring back the panel feature and to fix the page issues

Oh man smh

Huge fan of idw but guys you have to fix this app. Its crashing and its interface needs some work.

An unfortunate step backward

This was a great app. Then the update happened and now there is no panel by panel view. Also the support for Comixology was dropped so I can no longer get my collection over to my tablet. Very disappointed.

Getting there...but still needs improvement

This app has come a long way since its release. The organization of titles can still be a bit convoluted making navigation a bit of a pain at times, but ultimately you find everything. Ive found the developers are very open to feedback and any bugs I find I report them directly to the same representative. Great customer service when you discover a problem with one of your titles. Often problems are resolved within just a few hours in my experience. The launch of the app was less than spectacular, but the app is much more stable now. Compared to the earlier app, the readability for the iPhone is not as good (except the motion books, which function similarly but with the enhancements), but the experience on the iPad should be as good as the earlier app, though perhaps different. Ive brought the readability issue up with the rep I stay in contact with, and I think if enough users politely ask for a format similar to the old app, which is excellent for the iPhone, users may get something similar. It will take quite a while, however, since the new developer not only had to convert/digitalize the various TF series, but the entire IDW catalog for which an app exists. This is why on day one some titles and collections werent available or there were problems restoring them. The roll-out could have been much better, but Madfire seems open and determined to bring users an app and the readability they desire. I also suggest that if you own a title that has a corresponding Motion Book, restore it (often for free) and compare. Still a ways to go, but I think theyll get there, and I think the main issue is with the iPhone.

No panel view

The best feature is missing: swiping to move between panels rather than pages. Why bother with a digital version of I have to manually pinch and drag to see each panel? If youre going to update an app, make sure it has more features, not less!

MTMTE!

The new IDW Transformer books are awesome, especially liek the Combiner War stuff. But discovered All Hail Megatron… wow, guess that was early on for IDW. It’s amazing! So, the new app had some problems at first, and it was a little hard to navigate. Each update gets better. Room for improvement but really liking the big bold graphics. Kind of an exciting look. But the best part is having my hundreds of TF comics all in one place.

Why did Panel by panel disappear?

It was an amazing way to build suspense and look at smaller images on my iPad. Not sure if it was a mistake, but I am very disappointed that this feature was removed.

Coming along nicely

I also miss the panel by panel interface from before but this newest version is pretty good and been getting better

Bring back the old version

Not that the old comixology version was great but it was still better than this.

Good App, get!

So I rarely rate apps, so the fact Im doing this tells you a lot already. I found this app at the best moment: when my new comic store didnt carry a lot of the TF series I followed. Lifesaver right here, lol. And Ive really liked it... It even allows me to catch up on series and sometimes find an ultra-rare find. My only complaint? It sometimess freezes on a page when youre trying to turn it. Half the time it works after you try a few times, but others you have to go where it views pages and click manually on the next page. Annoyance, but Ive had this app for weeks so its bearable. Id say get this app, its been a good one.

Just one thing

The comic app is great but this is whats confusing I have 2 combiner wars comics from combiner wars prowl and mirage the both have QR codes in the comics and I dont know what to do with them this is why I think there should be a code scanner in the app to get the comic in the app

Excellent!

Love this app; really great for someone so far behind in these series.
